About The Greater Regional Healthcare Foundation

The Greater Regional Healthcare Foundation was established in 1993. The primary purpose of the Foundation is to assist Greater Regional Medical Center in making major technological advances and in the development of new programs and health care services for residents within the Greater Regional Medical Center service area. Gifts and contributions received by the Foundation provide needed capital improvements, educational materials, community wellness programs and may also assist with recruitment and retention of physicians.

Your financial support of the Foundation is very important to Greater Regional Medical Center’s future. Gift support is the only flexible method for creating new funds for new technical equipment, programs, and/or endowment for specialized services without increasing charges or borrowing funds. The Foundation is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa. Your gift is tax deductible under Code 501(c) 3 of the IRS Code.

Mission:
To enhance and improve access to quality health care services and to improve the health and well being of southwest Iowa residents. 

Vision:
The Greater Regional Healthcare Foundation will foster community health and raise funds to support Greater Regional Medical Center current and future needs while developing permanent endowment growth.

Purpose:
To facilitate fundraising activities which support Greater Regional Medical Center and thanks donors.  Board members will serve as ambassadors in the region to inform and educate the public on the needs of the medical center, opportunities for giving, and the many programs and services Greater Regional provides for the region.
