Services - Surgical Services

Greater Regional Medical Center provides the region's most comprehensive outpatient and inpatient surgical services. Our Surgical Department includes fully equipped surgical suites, endoscopy suite; ambulatory surgical area; and acute and ambulatory recovery.

Our surgical staff consists of two general surgeons and two nurse anesthestists. We also have a variety of specialty surgeons and a dedicated nursing staff with many years of experience and knowledge.

Surgery services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Surgery services offers a wide variety of surgical procedures, including orthopaedics, gynecology and women's health; general surgery; ear, nose and throat procedures; podiatry; urology; endoscopy; and ophthalmology.

With the help of the state-of-the-art equipment and a highly trained staff, Greater Regional Surgery Services is able to provide patients an opportunity to receive excellent surgical care locally without the inconvenience of traveling to a larger city.
