Union County Public Health has received an additional 200 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine. This will help to start expanding our reach of eligible vaccine individuals in Tier 1 of Priority Group 1B, as well as, open up vaccine appointments to a small portion of our 65+ population.
Please remember we have only 200 additional doses and the eligible population well over exceeds 200, please have patience with us.
On Thursday, February 4th, we will open the COVID Vaccine Hotline at noon to make appointments for the following Monday, February 8th.
The number to call for an appointment is (641) 782-3667. The hotline will close when all 200 appointments have been filled.
This information will be shared with local radio stations, the Creston News Advertiser, local pharmacies, social media, and Greater Regional Health’s website.
Union County Public Health and Greater Regional Health want an equal opportunity for those with internet access or not to be able to call the hotline to request an appointment. Please work together as a community to share this important information.
PLEASE BE AWARE. The 200 additional doses again will not cover all those who want the vaccine. Please have patience and understanding as Union County Public Health awaits more vaccines. When we know more information regarding the continued supply of vaccines being allocated, we will share this information with you.
Thank you for your continued support as we work through this process.
