Union County Public Health and Greater Regional Health are excited to announce 200 additional doses will be allocated to Union County this week. With these additional doses being received Union County Public Health will continue to work through Phase 1b, tier group one and vaccinate more individuals from our 65+ population group.

Our process continues to evolve as we work through this challenging situation of supply and demand.

As of February 8th, 2021, there will be two ways of being able to sign up to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

The first way, and most encouraged, is to go online and register. The link can be found HERE! It will also be on Greater Regional Health’s Facebook page and on Greater Regional Health’s website in the orange bar at the very top of the screen.

The second way, for those without internet access to still have an opportunity to get on the list is to call the COVID-19 hotline number on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from noon to 2 p.m. The hotline number is (641) 745-0124.

This list is an opportunity for you to sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine if you or a loved one is in the eligible group of 65+ population. Union County Public Health will call you to schedule your vaccine appointment, and to inform you of the date and place of your appointment. Appointments will be scheduled as doses become available.

Union County Public Health and Greater Regional Health will continue to be transparent in this process and will continue to inform the public when doses are received and how many. Union County Public Health will continue to work through the list of eligible 65+ as well as all five tiers within Phase 1b as doses come in.
