Sheena Cortner PA-C joining our Internal Medicine Department!
Cortner hopes to impact adult medicine team by having relationships with her patients where they feel comfortable talking to her as a provider about their concerns. She wants to focus on healthy living and lifestyle modification to reduce disease processes and progression.
“I believe patients deserve to have a health care provider that listens openly, explains what their recommendations are and uses evidence-based medicine to provide the best care and outcome,” said Cortner PA-C.
As an Adult Medicine provider, Cortner’s patients are adults 18 years of age and older to provide services for chronic disease management, yearly exams and physicals, Medicare visits, and education and wellness. She will be available to treat conditions such as hypertension, hypothyroid, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, CAD, depression, and anxiety among other conditions. In addition, she enjoys providing in room clinic procedures, wound suturing, and has a passion for teaching and discussing with individuals about health and wellness, specifically diet and exercise.
In Corter's free time you’d find her cooking or baking for her family using her passion for health to create healthy options for meals and snacks. She is also outdoorsy whether hunting, fishing, or gardening, but she also enjoys cozying up with a good book.
Here at Greater Regional Health, we prioritize patient care! We are dedicated to recognizing and serving each individual's specific needs through the delivery of person-centered care by sourcing providers that match our mission and values!
