Mt. Ayr Community Health Clinic
How do you want to make an impact at Greater Regional Health?
I want to make an impact at Greater Regional Health by offering our services in the rural clinic and expanding options for our patients.
What is your philosophy statement?
My philosophy is to provide patient-centered care with goals of excellence in quality, service, and access.
What made you want to be in the medical field?
My Grandmother was a nurse and inspired me to enter healthcare. I started at the age of 14 working in the kitchen at the nursing home. By 16, I worked as a CNA and continued this through nursing school. I was an LPN at age 19 and RN at the age of 20. I worked in the rural hospital as a nurse and went back to school at age 34 and completed my BSN at age 36 and my MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner at age 39. So, healthcare is all I have ever known.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Activities I enjoy in my free time include watching my Sweetheart race his hobbystock racecar, bowling (I'm learning and am bowling on a league for the first time in my life), and traveling.
