Midwife Services
Midwives are specialists in the normal processes of pregnancy, birth and the post partum period.
Midwives also provide pregnancy options counseling, family planning counseling and administration and insertion of contraceptive medications and devices. Midwives are trained to provide routine gynecologic care for women across the lifespan.
A certified nurse-midwife, CNM, is an advanced practice registered nurse who goes through comprehensive training, providing care to pregnant women from labor to delivery to postpartum care.
