Chanda grew up in Creston and completed her undergraduate study at Southwestern College before graduating from Chamberlian University. Chanda has two children, William and Bryanna, along with her fur babies Cali, Banks and LuLu.
Chanda is an active member of Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. She has volunteered with Meals from the Heartland and has a mission trip in June 2023 to Jamaica.
In her free time, Chanda enjoys crochet, macrame, reading and traveling to new destinations. She also enjoys spending time with her fur babies.
